The Dutch Frisian supermodel Doutzen Kroes was born on 23 January 1985 in the village of Eastermar in the province of Friesland, Netherlands, to a Frisian family. Frisian is a Germanic ethnic group native to the coastal parts of the Netherlands and Germany. They have their own language, Frisian. Kroes is in the official Frisian provincial campaign for the Frisian language, her mother tongue. In 2013 she officially became one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. But after 6 years working for Victoria’s Secret, the Dutch stunning model Kroes decided to leave her angel wings behind and strut her cat walk somewhere else for a better deal.
