Brain Teaser: Dinosaurs on a Seesaw

By: iTopTopics Staff

Seesaw logic is an elementary knowledge. My son brought this project home and it was so much fun to move the dinosaurs around to challenge his friends. I'm sure for an adult, you'd have no problem solve this in a split second.

On this fun seesaw challenge, we have Ornithomimus, T-rex  and Triceratops waiting at the playground to get on the seesaw.

First round, we have 2 T-rex on each end of the seesaw to keep it balanced.

Second round, we have 2 Ornithomimus on each end of the seesaw to keep it balanced.

Third round, we have 1 T-rex on one end, and 2 Ornithomimus on the other end to keep the seesaw balanced.

Fourth round, we have a Triceratops on one end and 2 T-rex on the other end to keep the seesaw balanced.

Question: in the 5th round, if we have a Triceratops on one end, how many Ornithomimus we can put on the other end to keep the seesaw balanced?
