For years, fashion colors have been inspired by nature. Color palettes vary from season to season, from year to year. Fashion industry has been using the standardized Pantone color reports as their guides to go about with their design directions.
Top 10 colors for Fall 2016 have been released to the press by Pantone. These vibrant pops of colors are not only inspired by the warm colors of the Autumn but also by the temperaments of our society. With the hustle and bustle of our lives, with the world filled with conflicts around us, we yearn for tranquility, strength, stability and optimism in our lives. All of these factors are the inspirations of a stream of exuberant, strong, earthy and exotic color palette for this Fall.
Here are the list of the top 10 colors for this Fall season. But keep in mind, the best colors of choice is always the ones which please your eyes, calm your mind, uplifting your spirit and boost your confidence.
Blue is a nostalgic color. It is a color that lives in the past, relating everything in the present and the future built from the past and present experiences. Riverside blue is a subtle hue of blue, not as vibrant as royal blue, or as deep as navy blue, or as soft as baby blue but it is noticeable enough to make a statement. This new shade of blue sends a message of trust, of honesty, of loyalty, of calm, of confidence, of stability and sophistication. In a sea of calmness, blue color also awakes our creativity.

Another shade of blue makes it to the top color list this year: airy blue. It’s as soft as a kiss of the blue sky on a white cloud, floating and drifting carelessly in the gentle breeze of an Autumn afternoon.
The airy blue suggests serenity, weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, bringing feelings of relief and relaxation even in turbulent times, a moment of interlude, a moment of calmness and tranquility to ourselves. Though airy blue conveys calmness and relaxation, as unpredictable as the ocean is, blue can turn your already troubled mind to a depression stage, like a gentle wave suddenly turns to big ocean tides sweeping your calmness away.
